Aguardio Leak Sensor - stand-alone

In this app you can connect Aguardio Leak Sensors to the Aguardio Gateway, from an Android device. The purpose is to gather data on leaking toilets to your app, so you can monitor this.

Make the installation easy

Installation and activation of Leak Sensor(s)

First, set up your Aguardio Leak Sensor(s) by selecting the ‘Set up new device’ menu in the app. Please make sure you have pressed the button on the side of the Leak Sensor, to activate it.

Then, install all Leak Sensors on the toilets or sinks and make a note of which Leak Sensor serial number is on which toilet/sink (see the first help article in the menu how to install a Leak Sensor on a toilet or a sink).

First, choose location for your Aguardio Gateway, preferably as close as possible to all your Aguardio Leak Sensors. Before fastening the gateway to the wall, please check whether all Leak Sensors are within range of the selected installation location (max. 10 Leak Sensors per Gateway). You can check this while in Pair mode for Leak Sensors with Gateway, whether they are in range. If they are, you can proceed to mount the Gateway and add the Leak Sensors to the Gateway. 

Before proceeding to pair, please check that all the Leak Sensors you have installed and their names, correspond to those you are pairing to the Gateway.

Choose the ‘Set up new device’ menu and scan the QR code on the Gateway. 

Select Leak Sensors that you want to pair with the Aguardio Gateway and click ‘’Pair’’ on the upper right corner of the app

Please check that the Leak Sensor names and ID numbers correspond to those installed nearby. 

Once you have connected the Leak Sensors to your Gateway, this cannot be undone in the app. Please contact us if you need to make changes.

After pairing Leak Sensors and Gateway, press and hold the button on the Gateway for ten seconds until the light flashes blue and click ‘’Next’’ in the app.

This activation might take a while. Please leave your phone on with the app open. Meanwhile, you can proceed to fasten the Gateway to the wall at the exact location that you tested earlier to make sure it was in range of all Leak Sensors.

Use the ‘Collect sensor data’ button to collect data from your Gateway.
